Attendance Details
Partners and children are invited! (The park where the wedding occurs has a playground as well, and the rec center where the reception occurs is next to Mill Valley's rec fields, so we hope families will be somewhat accomodated; if there's anything else we can do, please let us know.)
We are asking for email addresses along with responses so that we can provide logistical updates if needed. The basic parameters (time, place) will not change, though.
Logistics: Parking and Shuttles
The ceremony will be at a park near the town center of Mill Valley, and there is very limited street parking in the area. The reception afterward, however, is at the community center with a large parking lot. As such, we will be running shuttles from the reception location to the ceremony and back.
We ask that everyone who is able to do so please park at the Mill Valley Community Center (180 Camino Alto), and ride the shuttle to Old Mill Park and back. We will have two 25-person busses driving the loop. Please plan to arrive around 2:30pm (i.e., an hour before the wedding) at the community center if you are riding the shuttle, because it may take several roundtrips to get everyone over to the park.
The City of Mill Valley asks us to do this in order to minimize impact on the city's limited parking and on traffic; please do take advantage of the shuttles if at all possible!
Gifts
As we are already mostly situated at our home with everything we need, and are fortunate to have what we do, we note that gifts are not necessary and your presence is more than enough to bring us happiness and joy on our wedding day. We know many of you will spend significant money traveling and staying in the area, and this alone means the world to us. Please come, eat our food and enjoy our party; that's enough!
